November, 2009- Amal is a 52 year old mother of 4 who had surgery for ovarian cancer. The surgeon has been paid, but the hospital bill is being negotiated at this time.
Her outstanding bills include:

February, 2010, update: Amal continues to struggle as she has been hospitalized six times since first diagnosed in September, 2009. Her family and she have been extremely grateful for the support of God and His people. Bills continue to be negotiated and the family is working to pay them down. But our help is still needed. Continue to keep her in your prayers.

Note: This is all completely voluntary. It will require the moving of the hearts of God's people. The story of Lazarus and the rich man in Luke 16:19-31 provides a vivid story of how God views those who "received good things in their lifetime" but did not share with those in need. Acts 4 Project is a beautiful way to help our neighbors.
